Calm coastal water near Cape Tribulation, Queensland, Australia

Discover the journey

Explore tropical north Queensland on a six-day circuit linking Cairns, the Atherton region and Cape Tribulation. Kuranda provides an early stop before the route moves through highland interests and then north along the Daintree corridor. Two nights near Cape Tribulation leave time to choose a rainforest or coastal activity, with a separate marine outing as a possible alternative when conditions and suitability allow. The return through the Daintree adds another opportunity to enjoy the changing landscape before Cairns. Hosted cultural interests need appropriate local arrangements, and weather, marine conditions and personal preferences should guide the final activity choices.
