Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Start at Victoria Falls
Arrive at Victoria Falls and leave space for a first orientation, with the falls visit and any extra activities discussed individually.

Day 2Toward Elephant Sands
Cross into Botswana and continue toward Elephant Sands. Settle into the wildlife setting without a fixed expectation of which animals you may see.

Day 3Continue to Maun
Travel toward Maun, using the town as a practical gateway to the next stage and time to prepare for the delta transfer. Confirm delta luggage limits before repacking here.

Day 4Enter the Okavango Delta
Continue into the Okavango Delta using the selected access arrangement, then settle into the waterways landscape without overloading the arrival afternoon. Water levels may influence the final access method.

Day 5A full Delta day
Spend the day exploring appropriate channels or islands with suitable local guidance, allowing water levels and conditions to shape the experience. Quiet observation is preferable to chasing a species list.

Day 6Toward the Caprivi Strip
Leave the delta region for Namibia's northeastern strip, giving the border and transfer enough time before considering an activity at the overnight stop. Arrival time should leave room for border delays.

Day 7Waterways of northeastern Namibia
Remain in the Caprivi area for a quieter day, considering local river scenery, a guided walk or a separately arranged cultural visit. Choose an outing that reflects the selected river base.

Day 8Cross toward Chobe
Travel back toward Botswana and Chobe, keeping the crossing and arrival practicalities central before choosing an afternoon or evening activity. A second night gives time for the main outing.

Day 9Chobe wildlife perspectives
Give Chobe a full day for wildlife and river interests, deciding between suitable outings once vehicle access and boat services are confirmed. River and road perspectives can be discussed separately.

Return to Victoria Falls to complete the loop, allowing time for the border process. An additional night may make the onward flight connection more comfortable.
