Discover the journey
Link Israel and Jordan through city, archaeological and desert landscapes on a sixteen-day journey. Begin in Tel Aviv, continue through the Galilee and Dead Sea areas and the Sde Boker region, then spend several nights in Jerusalem. The Jordan chapter begins only if a suitable border crossing can be confirmed, continuing toward Petra, Wadi Rum and Amman. The route leaves room for considered visits rather than a continuous list of sights. Current conditions and traveler eligibility are essential to its feasibility; if the crossing or a principal region cannot be confirmed, the itinerary needs revision before arrangements are offered.

Day-by-day itinerary
This proposed itinerary can be adjusted around your interests and travel dates. Visits, transport and overnight arrangements are confirmed in your written proposal before booking.
Day 1Arrive on the Mediterranean coast
Arrive in the Tel Aviv region and settle into the first base when current road and arrival arrangements are confirmed. Keep any local introduction light, with the evening adapted to the actual flight timing.
Planned overnight: Tel Aviv.
Day 2Jaffa and the modern city
Explore selected streets in Jaffa and Tel Aviv, contrasting the older port setting with later urban neighborhoods. Choose the route around current access and suitable local arrangements, leaving time to pause after the previous day's travel.
Planned overnight: Tel Aviv.
Day 3North along the coast
Continue north with a selected coastal heritage stop around Caesarea or Acre, subject to current access and realistic road timing. The day introduces a different regional setting. Keep the arrival evening in the Galilee area relaxed rather than adding a further long excursion.
Planned overnight: Galilee area.
Day 4Wetlands and northern landscapes
Use the Galilee base for a selected landscape and cultural outing, choosing exact areas around current conditions and suitable local access. Keep alternatives available if access changes. Any community visit needs its own respectful arrangement.
Planned overnight: Galilee area.
Day 5South through the inland corridor
Travel toward the Dead Sea area, considering selected historical interests along the way only where current conditions permit. The road journey needs its own allowance. Keep the arrival program light so the day does not combine a long transfer with an ambitious sightseeing list.
Planned overnight: Dead Sea area.
Day 6Desert heritage toward the Negev
Consider Masada where access allows before continuing toward the Sde Boker area. The setting shifts from the Dead Sea to desert landscapes, with the route and walking chosen around current conditions and weather.
Planned overnight: Sde Boker area.
Day 7Toward Jerusalem
Travel toward Jerusalem, with a selected stop in the Sde Boker area considered only if timing and access suit. Keep the first city outing modest. The following nights provide more space for exploration, so arrival need not compete with a full program of religious-site visits.
Planned overnight: Jerusalem.
Day 8Museum and memorial settings
Use a full Jerusalem day for selected museum and memorial interests, subject to opening arrangements and current access. Allow time for interpretation and reflection between places. A sensitive, measured visit leaves time for interpretation and reflection. The Israel Museum and a separately considered memorial visit are possible focuses.
Planned overnight: Jerusalem.
Day 9A considered Old City route
Consider an Old City walk matched to current restrictions, worship, steps and surfaces. Keep alternatives available if a principal area cannot be visited. A Bethlehem excursion or additional jurisdictional crossing is outside this route.
Planned overnight: Jerusalem.
Day 10Toward Jordan
Continue into Jordan only if current border operation, traveler eligibility and all formalities have been confirmed. Allow substantial time for the crossing and any guide or vehicle changes. Without those arrangements, the two-country route needs revision before proceeding.
Planned overnight: Jordan Dead Sea area.
Day 11Madaba and Mount Nebo en route
Continue toward Petra with possible stops around Madaba and Mount Nebo, balancing cultural interests with the road journey. Keep arrival comfortable so tomorrow's fuller Petra visit can begin after time to rest.
Planned overnight: Petra.
Day 12Explore Petra's main setting
Explore a selected Petra route matched to your walking ability, current conditions and access. Distances and steps can be substantial. Leave time to absorb the setting, with no strenuous extension assumed.
Planned overnight: Petra.
Day 13Little Petra and the desert
Continue toward Wadi Rum, with a Little Petra visit if timing allows. A desert vehicle outing can be considered with suitable arrangements. Discuss camp facilities, terrain and boarding needs before choosing the overnight stay and activities.
Planned overnight: Wadi Rum.
Day 14North toward Amman
Travel toward Amman, considering a selected stop in the Kerak area where access and timing suit. The road journey is a meaningful part of the day. Keep the arrival evening relaxed rather than attaching a full capital-city tour after the transfer.
Planned overnight: Amman.
Day 15Jerash and the capital
Consider a possible excursion to Jerash combined with a limited introduction to Amman, allowing realistic walking and road time. The archaeological setting can involve uneven surfaces. Prioritize a manageable selection of visits so the final full day does not become overly crowded.
Planned overnight: Amman.
Day 16Depart from Jordan
Finish in Amman with sufficient time for departure. Additional nights or revised connections may be needed if border or route changes affect the earlier itinerary, and should be discussed before the plan is confirmed.

Questions about this journey
Is the Israel-to-Jordan transfer confirmed?
No. It depends on a currently permitted crossing, traveler eligibility and suitable arrangements. If those cannot be confirmed, the two-country route must be revised before booking.
Can I choose my dates and travel format?
Share a preferred date or flexible period, and tell us whether you prefer Group or Private travel. Feasible dates, format and pricing will be reviewed before booking.
Does requesting a quote reserve the journey?
No. An inquiry starts a conversation about your plans. It does not reserve space or confirm a booking.
