Discover the journey
Follow a nine-day loop through Jordan, from an arrival through Amman to the Dead Sea, Madaba, Petra and Wadi Rum, then back to the capital. The route pairs city and archaeological interests with open desert landscapes, leaving an unhurried day near the Dead Sea and room for personal interests in Amman. Petra has a full day for exploration at an appropriate walking pace. A possible camp overnight in Wadi Rum adds a different setting from the city stays. Heritage visits, outdoor time and the journeys between them can be balanced around the way you want to travel.

Day-by-day itinerary
This proposed itinerary can be adjusted around your interests and travel dates. Visits, transport and overnight arrangements are confirmed in your written proposal before booking.
Day 1Through Amman to the Dead Sea
Arrive through Amman and continue toward the Dead Sea, with the pace shaped around your arrival time. Keep the remainder of the day for settling in and rest rather than adding a demanding sightseeing program.
Day 2An unhurried Dead Sea day
Spend an unhurried day near the Dead Sea. Use the time for rest and the surrounding setting, choosing any additional activities around your interests and the facilities selected for your stay.
Day 3Madaba on the way to Petra
Continue via Madaba toward Petra, connecting the route's city and heritage interests. Balance the stop with time on the road so the arrival leaves room to settle in before tomorrow's fuller exploration.
Day 4A day focused on Petra
Spend the day exploring Petra at a pace that leaves room for walking breaks and time to take in the setting. Discuss the route's distances and steps when planning your visit, especially if you prefer a shorter walk.
Day 5Toward Wadi Rum
Continue toward Wadi Rum, where desert landscapes provide a change from the archaeological setting of Petra. A possible camp overnight can be considered, with facilities, access and activities discussed before choosing your stay.
Day 6Return toward Amman
Travel north toward Amman and return to a city base. Give the road journey its own time, keeping the evening relaxed after the change from desert surroundings to the capital.
Day 7An excursion to suit your interests
Keep an Amman-based day open for a possible excursion or more time in the city. Choose the focus around the interests that have emerged along the journey, with a manageable outing and time to return comfortably.
Day 8Amman heritage and neighborhoods
Explore Amman's heritage and neighborhoods, combining selected cultural visits with independent time. A measured route leaves room to appreciate the city between the principal stops and enjoy the final full day at your own pace.
Day 9Finish in Amman
Complete the loop in Amman and leave time for onward travel. If you would like another night in the capital or an independent extension, discuss it alongside the final departure arrangements.
