Red Fort walls and entrance in Delhi, India

Discover the journey

Combine northern India's royal cities with wildlife country and the religious settings of Amritsar and Rishikesh. Beginning in New Delhi, the fifteen-day route travels through Jaipur, the Ranthambore area and Agra, then returns through Delhi for a flight to Amritsar. Chandigarh and Rishikesh bring a different northern chapter before the journey ends back in the capital. Two-night stays in key places allow time for architectural detail and a more measured pace. A possible park excursion depends on permits and operation, while the Golden Temple area and Ganges-side settings call for respectful visits. Substantial transfers have their own place in the schedule.

Day-by-day itinerary

This proposed itinerary can be adjusted around your interests and travel dates. Visits, transport and overnight arrangements are confirmed in your written proposal before booking.

Day 1Arrive in New Delhi

Arrive in New Delhi and take time to settle in. Keep the first outing close to your stay if time and energy allow, leaving the wider capital for tomorrow's introduction.

Planned overnight: New Delhi.

Day 2Explore the capital

Spend a full day with a selected combination of New Delhi's major public spaces and historic settings. Traffic and the scale of the city call for a considered route. Leave time between visits so the introduction is more than a sequence of distant stops.

Planned overnight: New Delhi.

Day 3West toward Jaipur

Travel toward Jaipur, allowing for the road journey before a first look at the city. A manageable afternoon introduction can set up tomorrow's exploration. Keep the evening flexible rather than adding a lengthy performance or excursion after an uncertain arrival time.

Planned overnight: Jaipur.

Day 4Fort and city heritage

Explore the Amber Fort area and a selected group of Jaipur's urban landmarks, with the access method discussed beforehand. Steps, heat and traffic can shape the day. Choose time for architectural detail over a rushed attempt to cover every possible interior.

Planned overnight: Jaipur.

Day 5Toward the park region

Continue to the Ranthambore area and settle into the next base. Let the drive have its own space rather than attaching a park outing to an uncertain arrival time; tomorrow is left for a possible wildlife excursion.

Planned overnight: Ranthambore area.

Day 6A possible wildlife excursion

Consider a park excursion when permits, conditions and vehicles allow. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Stay near the base for the rest of the day, balancing an early outdoor start with rest and flexibility.

Planned overnight: Ranthambore area.

Day 7Via Abhaneri toward Agra

Travel toward Agra, with a possible stop at the Abhaneri stepwell if timing and access suit. Steps and uneven surfaces need consideration. Keep the evening free to settle in before tomorrow's main architectural visits.

Planned overnight: Agra.

Day 8Mughal architecture in Agra

Explore the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort areas, leaving space between the two visits to appreciate their different settings. Opening arrangements and entry procedures will shape the sequence. An optional workshop or shopping stop can follow your interests.

Planned overnight: Agra.

Day 9Through Delhi to Amritsar

Return toward New Delhi for the planned flight to Amritsar, allowing a realistic margin for the airport journey. Keep the evening flexible around arrival rather than relying on being in time for a particular ceremony.

Planned overnight: Amritsar.

Day 10Sacred precincts and Punjab context

Explore the Golden Temple area and selected historic streets, respecting worship and visitor arrangements. A possible Wagah-area ceremony outing depends on access and operation, with an alternative if it cannot run. The route does not cross into Pakistan.

Planned overnight: Amritsar.

Day 11Onward to Chandigarh

Travel to Chandigarh and consider the Rock Garden or another selected public space after arrival. The city offers a different urban character from the preceding stops. Keep visits proportionate to the road journey so there is time to settle before the evening.

Planned overnight: Chandigarh.

Day 12Toward the Ganges

Continue toward Rishikesh and the Ganges-side setting. A gentle riverside introduction may fit around arrival, with time to settle in after the road journey. Any ceremony viewing remains conditional and should be approached respectfully.

Planned overnight: Rishikesh.

Day 13Ashrams, river paths and personal pace

Explore selected temple, ashram and riverside areas, with the Beatles Ashram area a possible cultural interest. Leave room for quiet observation between visits. An optional introductory yoga session can be discussed if it suits your needs.

Planned overnight: Rishikesh.

Day 14Return to the capital

Travel back to New Delhi, keeping the day focused on a comfortable return and the next day's departure arrangements. A final short outing is optional if timing allows. The overnight acts as a buffer rather than relying on an immediate international connection.

Planned overnight: New Delhi.

Day 15Depart India

Finish in New Delhi and allow time for the airport journey and check-in. Another night or extra room time can be discussed if your departure schedule calls for it.
