Day 1Arrive in Lisbon
Arrive in Lisbon and settle into your chosen neighborhood. Keep the first day gentle, with a short orientation if time allows and an open evening after travel.

Explore Lisbon through its neighborhoods and selected city interests. Choose a walking route that suits the slopes and your pace, with time to pause between the larger visits.

Day 3Lisbon to Evora
Travel inland from Lisbon to Evora. Give the town useful time on foot and enjoy the change from the capital to the Alentejo setting.

Day 4South to Lagos
Continue south toward Lagos and the Algarve coast. Treat this as a change of base, leaving room to settle in and take a first local walk after the journey.

Day 5Lagos and the Algarve coast
Spend a day around Lagos and the Algarve coast. A boat outing is an optional way to experience the setting when conditions permit, while time on land offers another perspective.

Day 6Portimão and Monchique
Explore toward Portimao and Monchique for a contrast between coastal and inland surroundings. Choose a few stops that allow time outside the vehicle before returning to the base.

Day 7North through Setúbal and Azeitão
Travel north through the Setubal and Azeitao area toward Cascais. This is a substantial road day, so any food or regional stop will be chosen to fit a comfortable arrival.

Visit Alcobaca and Obidos from the final regional base. Balance time at the main interests with a manageable walk through the towns, allowing for the return journey.
